Tour the Governor’s Mansion

Inside the walls of the Missouri Governor’s Mansion, guests will have the opportunity to step back in time and learn about our state’s history. The Missouri Governor’s Mansion is one of few executive residences in the United States open to the public. Free guided tours are given by our volunteer docents thanks to the support of the Friends of the Missouri Governor’s Mansion Docent Program. Once your tour has been confirmed, please read all information carefully to fully understand the Mansion guidelines.

Tour reservations are required for all visitors and must be made at least 48 hours in advance. It is recommended that you schedule some additional time in between your tours of the Missouri State Capitol and the Governor’s Mansion due to distance in-between the two sites.

Missouri Governor’s Mansion guided tours are provided at the beginning of spring into the early part of summer. We allow 25 people per group and tours are provided every 15 minutes. Please see our schedule below for more information. Tour reservations are required and must be confirmed before your visit at the Mansion. For security purposes, a photo ID and/or additional information may be needed before entering the Mansion grounds.
